Terms of use

World Backgammon ("the service") is an online backgammon platform that lets players compete in ranked games, private duels with or without a stake, and tournaments with prizes or prize pools. Opening an account or using the service constitutes full and complete acceptance of these terms.

The service is strictly reserved for adults (18 years old, or the legal age of majority in your country of residence, if higher). By creating an account, you certify that you meet this condition.

Each player may hold only one account. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all actions taken from your account, including via a linked Telegram account.

A Telegram account may be linked to your player account for sign-in and notifications. This link relies exclusively on identification data verified by Telegram's servers; you may revoke it at any time.

Duel stakes, tournament tickets and winnings are settled in crypto-assets, directly between wallets. The service does not hold your private keys: you remain solely responsible for the custody of your wallet and for the accuracy of the addresses and amounts you enter.

Blockchain transactions are irreversible. A payment sent to the wrong address or for an incorrect amount cannot be cancelled by the service. Crypto-asset prices are volatile: the equivalent value of a stake or winnings can vary between when it is committed and when it is settled.

For tournaments, custody of the prize pool (held by the organizer or by the service) is stated on the tournament page before any registration. The announced prize distribution is authoritative.

Dice are generated by a verifiable cryptographic mechanism: a seed is committed before the game and revealed at its conclusion, allowing anyone to recompute every roll. The process is public and documented within the application.

The use of assistance software, artificial intelligence, or any method intended to rig a ranked or tournament game is prohibited and results in exclusion, forfeiture of any winnings involved, and, where applicable, account closure.

Exchanges between players (game chat, usernames) must remain courteous. Abusive, discriminatory or fraudulent language may be filtered and can lead to sanctions ranging from a warning to a permanent ban.

The service is provided "as is". We make every effort to ensure its availability and integrity, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. In the event of a technical incident affecting a game with a stake, the situation is adjudicated based on the server state, which is authoritative.

It is your responsibility to verify that participating in online money games and using crypto-assets is lawful in your country of residence.

These terms may evolve; the update date at the top of the page is authoritative. You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or close an account in the event of a breach of these terms, after reviewing the situation.

For any question, player support is available on Telegram, from the site's footer.
